Just too cute!

I Love This Time Of Year!!!!

We planted most of our garden last week. Our garden for this spring has 36 tomato plants, 15 pepper plants, 6 zucchini, 6 yellow crook neck squash, 6 cucumbers, beets, carrots, onions, cilantro, basil, rosemary, onions, asparagus and some flowers.

Our peach trees are starting to bloom as well as our irises.

Gardening and working in the yard this time of year is heavenly!

My New Treasure

My too generous friend, Ashley, gave me this GORGEOUS dining set. She was down-sizing and offered it to me. I am in love. We have room for everyone to sit with out rubbing elbows. We have two chairs and a high chair that we pull up to the table at dinner time, but we all fit comfortably. Thank you forever and ever Ashley. It is one of the most beautiful tables I have ever seen!

Sleeping Beauties

I Had A Bird!

Yes, that's ME with the famous Dysart Elementary Eagle.

Sam is the school mascot this year. He is loving it.

Here he is with some of his fans. They wouldn't leave him alone. They wanted to know who he was. He did a great job keeping his secret, but made it fun for the kids.

Cheering with the ladies.

When he first got picked, he told me the only bad thing was that he had to hang out with all the cheerleaders. I think he thought they would be annoying, silly girls. He has since changed his mind.

Fun in the Trees

In mid January, I pruned all our trees. The kids loved the huge pile of branches. They dug their way in to make hiding places and such.

They also had a blast climbing in the trees. Timmy climbed almost to the tip top. He is fearless. Sam was worried about him with the other kids shaking the branches as they climbed below. So much fun!

Yes, this is what our trees looked like in mid January. This wasn't last fall. I am not that behind on posting.
