Donald Duck's Toy Train

Recently my mom came across some of my dad's baby things.  One which was his favorite childhood book, Donald Duck's Toy Train.  He came over one evening and read it to the kids.  I don't remember where Sara was, but everyone else gathered around to hear him read it.  So sweet!

Scout Camp at Lake Powell

I didn't go to scout camp, Richard and Tim did, so this will be mostly pictures.  However, they did have a wonderful time and it looks really beautiful.

Wow!  What a view!

They stayed on this house boat.

They climbed a giant sand pile to get up to some cool caves.

They took turns burying each other.

This is Nathan Tanner jumping off the roof of the boat.

More Late Spring Fun

My sweet in-laws give us apricots every year from their orchard.  They are delicious!  I love to make apricot-pineapple jam and bottle it for the year (I wish it lasted a year!).

I made a bunch for teacher gifts too.  It is so yummy, I could drink it!

Tim had to make a model of a ride for an amusement park the last week of school.  He made it out of Legos and Josh helped him out.  It is a river rafting ride.  You can see the blue Lego water flowing around.

This was taken when they finished at about 1am!

Mother's Day

I really wanted a picture of me surrounded by all my kiddos and their smiling faces, this was the best we could get.  Hahahahaha!  The first one is the best one even with Laney's pouty face.

Love Susanna's tongue!

At this point we just gave up!

My sweetie and I with our girlies.

Gosh I love this fella!  Look at those pretty blue eyes.  :)

18 1/2 years and I still can't get enough of this guy!  I love him with all my heart.

Here we are with our boys.  Such goofy guys.

It was a fun day for pictures to remind me of all the wonderful  people that fill my life with more joy than I could have ever hoped for!

Seriously, I couldn't be happier!

Silliness!  Josh

Sara

He is such a sweetheart.  :)

NHS - Veggie Phone - Pretty Hair

Josh was inducted into the National Honor Society.  We are just as proud as we can be.

He looked so handsome in his suit and tie.  And so grown up!

We have been enjoying our garden.  Not only is the produce tasty but fun to play with.  :)

Laney's hair is getting long and really fun to play with.  She wanted fancy braids for church and this is what we came up with.

Pretty girl!

Father's and Son's Camp Out

Nothing starts a camp out better than finding a dead coyote.  YUCK!  The boys apparently thought it was wonderful.

Then they worked for hours to build a fort to sleep in.

They began with bigger logs and branches and then twigs and pine needles.

Here is the entrance.

They all squeezed in for a pic.

Then it was time for some serious tree climbing.

If you look closely, you can see Daniel up in the middle of the tree.

The next day they went to the lake to swim.

They had another wonderful camp out.  :)
