This week has been nuts with preparing for the first dress rehearsal for Beauty and the Beast. The performances are this coming week, March 2nd and 3rd. We have dress rehearsals all this week. I have spent much of this last week sewing and preparing, pulling it all together. I am looking forward to the performances, but also looking forward to it being over and having my life back so I can work on things for our rapidly approaching wedding. Invitations are going out this week!!
We got a few more pictures with Sammy when he was here visiting last Sunday. We sure miss him around the house, but he is happy and things are going great for him with his new job.
I love this guy!!!
While he was here, our good friends, the Jordans, came by for a visit while out for their Sunday walk. It was fun to see the kids all together. They have grown up with each other.
Kallie, Averie, Sydney

We always have a great time visiting with them!
As the Jordans left, Gram and Papa drove up. Sam hugged them and then headed home. He was exhausted. Gram and Papa played Doodle Tales with us. It was hilarious!
Josh, Leigh and Mikael played Upwords, but didn't realize that the rules say you can only stack them 5 high. They had some crazy leaning towers of letters.
Daniel's new glasses came in! He was thrilled, since he has been without them for about 3 months. He can see clearly again, HOORAY!
I caught this sweet, spontaneous hug. Andrew walked in from a nap on the porch, just as Freddy was coming home from work. He fell on him with a huge, long hug. It was so sweet! I love how much they adore each other.
Well, what can I say, Andrew is a lover. He gave a big bunny hug to Leigh.
Josh loved Freddy by throwing him to the floor and wrestling with him. Ha ha!
This last Friday, Andrew asked his friend, Isabelle Hunsaker, to go to prom with him. She starred as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz in the fall, so he used that as his theme for his "promposal". It's so much fun to see the creative ways they come up with to ask girls on dates.
You can see the video of him asking here: https://youtu.be/_x3aH-99JHQ
After helping Drew, I hurried over to cosmetology school to be there when they announced the results of the Skills USA competition. Sara did wonderfully! She got 2nd place in her school and will go on to compete at state.
They had a timed hair cut that they had to match to a photo which was given to them. Then they had to do a timed updo of their choice. She did this beautiful classic look.
She showed me the front and then the back of both her and the mannequin. Silly girl!
We had Tyson, Lucas and Wilson over for Friday and Saturday. The twins planned a triple date for that night. They played games and watched the movie new Disney movie, Coco (It's darling and made me cry.)
Tyson and his date, Brianna Watkins, were the winners of Curses!
These were the losers. They all had fun. They were just being silly for the photo.

Isabelle came by that evening with her answer to Andrew's promposal. He was thrilled to receive a badge of honor and this cute poster.
Saturday was the first dress rehearsal. No one was naked, so I guess I did my job. Actually, I think everyone looked pretty good. I had a few repairs and adjustments to make, but I am pretty much done!
Laney as one of the narrators
Susanna is the spoon the third from the right. The servants / silverware and dishes were all adorable!! Yea!!!
After rehearsal, Sara and I went to the awards ceremony for the Skills USA competition and she was awarded her silver medal.
I love Sunday snuggles after church! The girls were being loud and silly and Freddy was sound asleep in the middle of it all.
Daniel has been working on Scott Joplin's The Entertainer. It is not an easy piece. He is playing the original arrangement and it is coming along awesomely!
The best part of Sunday is always getting to hearing from my sweet missionary, Timmy!
