Drew started the weekend by learning how to season and cook a turkey. He did it almost completely by himself and it was one of the best turkeys I have ever had. It was super moist and had lots of yummy herbs.
I knew when I was pregnant with Nate and Drew that one day I would have 6 teenagers. That day has come, Sam 18, Josh 17, Tim 15, Sara 14, Andrew 13 and Nathan 13! I remember being worried about how I would handle that many teens, but let me tell you, they are truly a dream come true. We have a few bumps here and there, but they are all sweet, obedient, hard working and thoughtful kids for the most part. I enjoy them all tremendously!
Victor was here with us for most of the weekend and got to celebrate with us. After church it seems like they always pile up on Victor as he is trying to rest.
Victor had to leave to go back to NAU before dinner. Lorenzo and his brothers came to pick him up and we took some "man" pictures.
Such manly men, ha!
Me and my babies
They are getting big, but not to big for a love from Mom.
Goofy Susie
Gram and Papa dropped by on Monday to wish them happy birthday.
Daniel helped Papa with his back.
Sara and her Daddy
Nate wanted a mint chocolate chip ice cream cake and Drew wanted a German apple cake with blueberries instead of apples, topped with a blueberry syrup.
Drew is forever ruined by Elder Fackrell's crazy eyes.
I had to beg to get a normal picture. They are so adorable! It melts my heart.
I love that Tim and Sara are such buddies too, almost twins.
Poor Papa, wiped out
Again with the goofy faces, ha!
Drew loves his Papa.
A couple months ago Drew bought a massage chair at our neighborhood yard sale for $20. Quite a deal. He brought it down stairs for Papa to try out.
Wow, it almost looks like we planned clothing colors for this shot.
Cheese!
