I'm going to start with the married kids this week. Josh had his birthday on Friday. He is now 22. It was his first birthday as a married man and he and Leigh had lots of fun. He got his birthday burger at Red Robin, a Burnin' Love Burger with bacon. They forgot to put bacon on his burger, so they just brought him a plate of bacon. He was plenty happy with that.
Leigh takes good care of him. They had a fun day together celebrating.
CAKE!
Josh made roasted chickpeas, healthy and delicious!
Sam and Vivi have enjoyed going to the temple frequently. Such cuties!
Vivi loves to cook and she made curry this last week. Sam said it was amazing!
Both Sam and Josh are in school this semester. They are wiped out tired by the end of the day. Leigh sent me this pic and said that Josh has no problems sleeping after a long day working and going to school. Vivi has said the same about Sammy.
Leigh is practicing her mommy skills while watching her friend's baby. She is going to be an awesome mom!
Josh and Leigh went to Lava Hot Springs, Idaho for a birthday day trip. They had lots of fun.
They are so cute!
They found Tyler Kellis there! Small world.
Last Sunday, we went to Brynn Wilde's farewell open house. She is going to send me the pictures soon, but for now this is the only one I have. Laney and Daniel had fun singing and playing the piano while we were there. They are such great buddies. I love it!
Sunday night, the three youngest crashed soon after we came home from Brynn's. They are so snuggly. I have no idea how they can sleep in such crazy positions.
The older crazies stayed up late being super ridiculous. Lilly Jensen and Josh Jordan stayed the night. We all stayed up laughing and laughing.
We have so much fun with our kiddos. Who needs friends when you can grow your own? Well, that's not totally true, I really love my friends, but my kids and hubby really are my best friends.
Noah has won the hearts of all the girls. He is a sweetheart and is a great brother to them all.
Family time studying Come Follow Me is going well. We love studying the gospel together.
Freddy and Noah had a great time wrestling Sara to the floor. There was lots of giggling involved.
Sara has been working on a self portrait assignment for her 2-D art class. It is coming along AMAZINGLY!!!!!!
I'm so proud of her hard work and talent!
Sara and I went to the student night at the opera. $5 to watch the AZ Opera Company's production of La Traviata was wonderful. We LOVED it!!!!
The sets were fabulous and the singing was gorgeous!!!!
On Thursday, Sarah MaGill set up a scavenger hunt to ask Freddy to Morp. (It is prom backwards, the girls ask the guys.) She did a really cute job with it.
When he got the end and found her in the back yard, he ran to her and scooped her up into his arms. It was so sweet!
We love Sarah. She is kind, loving, smart, beautiful inside and out and pretty much wonderful!
Saturday, Dad went to a seminary training, Daniel got up and started doing some yard work at Jessi's for Papa, and then I took all the boys to help my friend Melanie Wellman and her family to move into our ward.
When we got back, Sam and Vivi were at the house. Sara gave Sammy, Daniel, Noah and Freddy haircuts. Then there was more silliness between Sara and Noah.
After that, Sam wanted to take Vivi to see a super huge model home near us. We have been there lots of times. It is gorgeous! We had a lot of fun going with them to see Robert. (That is the home's name.)
We did the silly picture first this time. Aren't these kids the best????
