Turning 15

Freddy and Andrew are 15!  Crazy how time flies.  We celebrated on and off for over a week.  We started with seeing the movie Dr Strange as a family.  That was what they wanted for their gifts, a movie as a family.  It was a pretty incredible movie.  I think it is my favorite Marvel movie ever!

We got a couple of pictures with the Moana display before Dr. Strange.  Laney is in the first pic,  but you have to look for her.

Josh Jordan tagged along with us.

Laney being Strange, which comes very naturally for her.

A few days later, I took them out for their Red Robin birthday burgers and sundaes.

Andrew and Freddy

Freddy realized that Drew had stolen his cherry so Drew picked it up to feed it to him.

The only problem was, Drew wouldn't actually put it in his mouth, just near it.

They struggled like this for a while, laughing and having fun.

A birthday selfie with Mom, They are too much fun!

Last night we finished it off with their birthday dinner, Pumpkin Curry and German Raspberry Apple Cake. Gram and Papa joined us and after dinner we watched the new Pete's Dragon movie.  It was a sweet story, everyone loved it.

Of course a silly pose as well

We love this cake because it isn't overly sweet and it doesn't need frosting.  The fresh fruit baked in is delicious!

We had to keep lighting the candles because they kept blowing each others out. Rascals to the core!

Video proof of how mature they are now as 15 year olds.  Ha!

We had one sweet genuine moment.  Drew got a little emotional and they hugged.  My heart melted.

It was a wonderful evening celebrating my Twinners!

I Believe In Christ

Tim and Sarah Magill did a piano flute duet of I Believe In Christ in church.  I couldn't record the performance, but I got this video of one of their rehearsals.  The performance went beautifully, the best they had ever done.  I was so proud of them both.

Ely Thanksgiving

We had the Ely Thanksgiving on Saturday and instead of Turkey and the usual fixins, we had BBQ chicken and ribs, baked potatoes and lots of yummy side dishes. I love this crazy bunch!  We missed our Young girls, they were scattered through CA, UT and NY, dancing and having fun.

After dinner, we played a few games of croquet.  Dandi won the adult game.  She was so proud!

Aunt Judy and Uncle Eric were able to join us.  It was great seeing them.

Cadie and Daphne

This was the best I could get with Little Fred.  He is a busy, busy boy!

Daphne and Papa

Sara was struggling to get a huge bite of whipped cream into her mouth.  Gavin very kindly caught some of it as it fell.  He did not smash it on her face, even though that is what it looks like happened.

After croquet, We built our gingerbread houses!

I think Dandi ran around and got selfies with almost everyone.

I got to help Peter this year.  He did not want to build a house, he wanted a volcano.  He had it all planned out in his mind.  I assisted him in the execution.  He was so proud of our creation.  Notice the lava (twizzlers) shooting out of the top. the red orange and yellow magma down the sides and the green grass below.  He was adorable and man, does he know everything about volcanoes!

Tyson and Andrew

Cadie and Gavin had Gram take some family pictures for them.  They took 500 some pics, and managed to get a least one with all the kids looking almost the same direction!

Beautiful couple!

Thanks Mom and Dad for hosting a wonderful day!  I loved every minute.  The best part is always watching the kids have so much fun with their cousins.

Alger Thanksgiving

It was wonderful to see so many of the Alger family!  We get together so rarely now that the family is so huge, but when we do it is nonstop fun and visiting.

The swings are always a favorite for the kids of all ages. Susanna was thrilled that her toes were touching the branches as her daddy pushed her.

Most everyone made it into the picture, there were a couple of stragglers that came later.  We missed our out of town Huebschs and Campbells and also Laura Kay, who had to work.

Jon brought a parachute.  The kids loved it!

The light and surroundings were so pretty we took lots of pics of Tim and Sara since it is his last Thanksgiving before his mission.

Silliness with Dad and Tim

Aren't they the most delightful fellas!!!

I love this sweet guy of mine!  It's been 22 years since we met.
