spoon·er·ism /ˈspo͞onəˌrizÉ™m/ noun - a verbal error in which a speaker transposes the initial sounds or letters of two or more words, often to humorous effect, as in the sentence "you have hissed the mystery lectures," accidentally spoken instead of the intended sentence "you have missed the history lectures."
Since last Sunday was Easter, and Sara had such swollen cheeks from having her wisdom teeth pulled, we decided she looked like the Easter Bunny. Of course, we had to spoonerize it,
so she was the Beaster Unny.
She was pretty bruised too. It change colors through out the week. She didn't let it stop her from going to school and all of our other activities. She had a hard time eating too. I guess they were pretty hard to get out, since they had not grown in at all.
She was pretty tired from not sleeping well.
I love all the drifts of yellow flowers. The Palo Verde trees are blooming, which is awful for allergies, but SO PRETTY!
Sara is working on her next art project, it has to have different textures added to the entire canvas and then she has to paint over all of it. This was as she was adding the texture.
By mid week her cheeks were a nice highlighter yellow.
I really love school and I love all that I am learning. However, sometimes I wonder how much will stay in my brain for good. Secondary leading tones are a little mind bending.
We don't know exactly what happened, but we think our garage door opener is the culprit. This is the second garage door to mysteriously break. The girls came home and closed
the garage door and it spontaneously broke.
The hole in the stucco is from our van's antenna hitting it every time
it gets parked in the garage, and is unrelated.

Josh and Leigh had their baby, Samuel Yoshimi Alger!!!! He gets his own post as well.
Friday, after the concerts, Miles and Josh came home with us to stay the night. Tommy came over later that night, after prom. I don't think any of them slept much, but they had a wonderful time together jamming, watching Spiderman: Into the Spider Verse, and playing Star Wars Battlefront. The next day we woke them up and fed them eggs and toast in between jam sessions. It was so much fun to have our house full of music! I love it! Not that it is unusual, but the guitars and amps were new to our house. Tommy, Miles and Josh all played guitar and Daniel played the piano. Sara and Tommy sang. Everyone sang here and there. It was wonderful! Everyone missed our Elder Jensen. It is still strange not having him around, but we love his emails and his willingness to serve the Lord.
They played up until the last second before we left for the final two concerts.
Sara has started painting the skin, shirt and sky. The glitter and yellow yarn just part of the textures and will be covered with paint eventually.
Kelli Haggerton sketched this for Tim at his mission farewell. It has been hanging on our fridge since then, 1 year and almost 9 months ago. Sara's will be joining his in just under 2 months. Kelli said she would make one for her too.
It is tradition for the kids to wear their concert attire on Sunday after concerts. The boys had meetings so we were not able to get pictures with them.
