The End of Summer and a New School Year

Love this little face!!!

We went to Caiden Cook's farewell. He is off to his mission in Brazil.

Camden, Colton, Freddy, Andrew, Caiden, Ammon, Jesse, Caleb

I love Caiden! He's going to be a great missionary.

When we got home this was the scene we found. Daniel really was asleep, the rest were pretending.

Gavin and his kiddos came over to play.
Littlest Pet Shop fun with Zanna.

And Legos galore with the boys up stairs! They let the girls join.

Later that night, we had a game and puzzle night at the Larsons. They are tons of fun!

I gave my mom a hair cut the next day. She wanted to go short. I think it turned out pretty cute.
She was very happy with it.

We have had a horrible problem this summer with Kamikaze pigeons and our back door. This poor fellow was the worst one yet. He must have cracked his head open.

Late nights with these guys are a blast.
They had to squeeze in as much fun as they could before school starts back.
Freddy, Josh, Andrew
Lauryn Berry, Lilly Jensen, Hayden Buford, Daniel

I love my Wednesday chats with this lovely lady! She loves the MTC and learning Hungarian. She has a great group of missionaries to train with and wonderful teachers.

I snuck away with Zanna and Laney for a girl outing at Macayo's.

The manager, Michelle, came over and talked to us for a bit. She found out that the girls love to read. Michelle used to be a school librarian, so it made her happy to find book lovers. She treated us to fried ice cream and gave us a coupon for free meals and dessert the next time we come in. She was great!

First day of school!

Laney is 13 years old and starting 8th grade.

Susanna is 11 years old and starting 6th grade

Freddy and Andrew are 17 years old and are starting 12th grade.
They are also in their last year of their Medical and Dental Assisting programs.

Freddy and Andrew

Daniel is 15 years old and starting 10th grade.
My high schoolers, aren't they handsome!?!

Dropping the girls off, we got to see Gavin, for his first day teaching at Legacy!
The girls are thrilled to have him there!
