Prom

My darling friend Nelly, helped set up some of the prom decorations and asked if my girls and I would like to have a sneak peek at the church.  It was incredible!  The foyer was unrecognizable.  Sara and her bff had gotten all dressed up for their pretend prom and dressed Laney and Susanna up as their dates.  Susanna didn't appreciate the mustache and "boy" clothes, so she changed before we left for the church.

The bathrooms were decorated as well.

They had a room set up for the official prom photos to be taken.  They had fun props for the kids to use.

It really was beautiful and the girls had a wonderful time checking everything out (even the boys bathroom).

Sam and Josh both asked good friends to prom this year.  They were excited to just have fun.

Sam showing his excitement while picking up his date, lol.

Figuring out how to put on their flowers.  Hannah looked stunning.

Josh's date Sydney looked gorgeous too.

They had cut out and saved the artwork Josh had done to ask her and had it hanging up.  So sweet!

I drove the boys to pick up their dates, just so we could take pictures.  Then Sam drove the six of them around to dinner and prom in our party vehicle.  They had lights hanging up to add to the festivities.

They are a great bunch of kids and are a lot of fun to be with.  They are also extremely silly!

They crack me up!!!

Some of these are just screaming for good captions.

The patient beauties, waiting for the boys to finish with all their posing.

I love my boys!

And my "adopted" son too!

This is a shot that someone posted showing what it looked like when the teens were all there.  This was the party favor they gave out to everyone.  It was chocolates and a key chain to remember the night.

After prom they came back to our house and watched Skyfall. I think that the evening was a success!

Student Body Elections Photo Shoot

Sam and Victor are running for student body vice president and president.  They wanted new photos for their election posters.  I always love working with these two goofballs.  They make me smile.

I love that they are such great buddies.  Victor has been such a blessing to Sam and our family.  We love him!

Seriously, who wouldn't vote for these good lookin' dudes?

Footloose

Josh auditioned for his school musical, "Footloose".  He got the role of the uncle and then about 3 weeks before opening night they also gave him the part of Cowboy Bob the dance club singer.  He did an amazing job.  I was so pleased with his energy and he has a beautiful voice.  He had a whole song just to himself.

These pics give a glimpse into the show.  Check out those mad acting skills... hee, hee.

It was wonderful to see him doing his thing and being so comfortable on stage.  I can't wait until next year, Tim is excited to join him.  :)
