Laney's 8 Year Old Pictures

Eight is a big birthday, being the year our kids get baptized. Laney has been so excited. We decided to take some pictures for her baptism announcements. They are all so darling it was hard to pick just one.

We took some of the photos at a friend's ranch and the others at a near by field. It was a lot of fun.

She really wanted a picture with the cows.

Obviously, the address was not blacked out on the invitations, but this is what they looked like.  Beautiful thanks to my very talented sister Jessi who put it together.

NJHS Induction for Nate and Drew

My smarty pants twins were chosen to join the National Junior Honor Society. I am so proud of them and all their hard work. They make me smile!

So do these crazy folks!  Gotta love the Tanners.

Nathan Tanner was there helping with the ceremony.  He is one of their best friends.

Sara's best friend, Lilly, was also there helping.

So grown up!  They will be taller than me literally any day now.

The Last Father's and Son's Campout

Hopefully not the last on ever, just the last one with them all still living at home. Let me start by saying that the GIRLS has a wonderful time at home watching Doris Day and Annette Funicello movies and eating Panda Express and Cafe Rio.

Also, if you do not like guns, this is not the post for you.  The boys definitely had fun being boys on this one.

Hmmm... wonder where he is going?

Richard made sausage and potatoes for dinner.

Nothing like a bit of horse shoes.

And now we have the guns, big guns and biggest guns portion of the post.  Our good pal Stacy Offen had the boys and Richard join him and his son Zack for some shooting.  I think I can safely say they all had and AWESOME time!  And everyone was careful and followed all the rules.  Only one gun at a time and VERY well supervised.

No, they were not using him for a target.

I do believe this was by far the favorite gun to shoot.  Look out GI Joe.

They came home dirty and smiling.  Success!
