Day 2 of DC

Riding the bus

Ooooooooo underground metro

Love this! Andrew escorting Aunt Kathy

What can I say, the monk was just as excited for the selfie as Andrew was.

Back to finish the Natural History Museum after the Lincoln, Washington, Vietnam and WWII monuments.

They had an exhibit of amazing National Geographic photos. Of course we had to do our best impersonations of them.

This next one you have to look closely, there is an elephant nose and a Tim nose.

Watching the girls in the butterfly exhibit.

Gram trying to break into the National Archives.

When we got back we meet this dude on the Blakeley's drive way. Molly said his name was George Washington II. he was pretty incredible, like a mini dinosaur.

Day 1 of DC

Our first ride on the metro

Union station

 Our Capitol tour

Gram waited outside during our tour watching our bags because they wouldn't let us bring our food into the Capitol.

Andrew made friends with the squirrels.

Then we went to the Library of Congress.

We went to the air and space museum to keep out of the rain.

Then on to the Natural History Museum

It was pouring outside.

When the rain let up we booked it back to Union Station. We were exhausted and figured we would finish the Natural History Museum tomorrow.

When we got back to the Blakeley's we found Ken home from his work trip. The boys were so excited!
