The Big Boy Weekend in Kansas City!

Rich, Tim and Valo drove together to the Life Leadership Convention in Kansas City, Missouri.  Sam flew there a day before they arrived. Here is their adventure, Narrated by Tim and Sam.

On our way to Kansas City and Valo is already asleep

Dad has never been past the East border of Arizona so he really enjoyed the scenery.

Adam-ondi-Ahman was the most beautiful and peaceful place we have ever been

We visited Liberty Jail where Joseph Smith and 5 other church leaders were unjustly confined for 4 months. For more information about this: https://history.lds.org/article/historic-sites/missouri/liberty-jail?lang=eng

A display on the exact spot Liberty Jail was

Dream Homes

Dad is eating Dandelions
Interesting factoid even the roots are edible

We LOVE the insightful messages that we have been learning

Tim drove most of most of the way home

Dad was so surprised and overjoyed when he saw water that was naturally there

Waiting for the bus I think is going to come but didn't stop.

 Downtown Kansas City

Decided to just walk to the hotel because I don't trust the buses anymore and found this pretty home.

Walking down the road like a hitch hiker.

 Just green.

 Green. Green. Green.

 Pathway just off the road.

"This is a pretty cool path" face.

 Determined face.

 Dynamic face.

Tempted by those beautiful sand volleyball courts

 Downtown KC

The sand in the courts is like powder compared to the rocks they call sand in AZ.

Missouri river was just on the other side of the courts.

Ended up picking up a few games with some strangers and won 2 out of 3.

 The Sun is going down.

 Just in the woods.

  This is an actual forest.

 Deer friends.

Freddy's Spring Dance Recital

Freddy has loved being in dance this year at school and has learned so much.  He is excited to continue with it again next year as well. He did an incredible job, especially on his solo part right at the end of the creepy song they did.  It looked painful to me, but super cool. We are so proud of your hard work, Freddy!

Here are the videos of his dances.

This one is called Vole (which means fly in French)

This one was a creepy version of  Sweet Dreams. Be sure to see the very end where Freddy has his solo part.
