Sunday was Tim's last day at home. We had lots of sweet moments with his friends at church and throughout the day.

That evening we had an open house for Tim. We had the Smith family come a little early since we hadn't seen them all summer. It was great for Josh and Seth to reunite. They both came home from their missions this summer. They were high school buddies.

After the open house our stake president, James Ellis, came over to set Tim apart as a full-time missionary.

Brandon stayed for Tim's setting apart.
Brandon will go on his mission next summer, so it will be 3 years before they see each other again.
Lilli also stayed. She and Tim have grown really close over the last 2 years with dancing.
Things started feeling real that night. Even though our kids, except for Sam, would get to say goodbye in the morning, there were a lot of tears.
Sam had super early work the next morning, so he and Tim said their goodbyes Sunday night.
I can never get enough pictures of Tim and Sara. They have been best friends since she was born. They are really going to miss each other.
I finished putting Elder Alger on his mission towel late that night.
Monday morning before school, the kids gave him their final hugs.

Before heading out of town we went by Grandma and Grandpa Alger's house so Tim could say goodbye to them. I LOVE this picture! Such great smiles, you can see all the love!
