Pool Parties, Homecoming and Farewell

The boys had a great time at the Gertges house!

The Gertges love to have hotdog eating contests. My boys did a pretty amazing job! Freddy won!

Sara is sleeping on a mattress on the floor in my room, since she is only here until she is cleared medically. We have had fun snuggling and giggling together!

The 5 of us went to Colton McOmber's mission farewell.

After Colton's talk, we went to one of Tim's mission buddies homecoming talk, but we missed it. They had him speak first, instead of the usual last.

Tim went home with him to hang out, and the rest of us went to Colton's for lunch.

Freddy and Tim fell asleep on the way home. They both looked hilarious!

The twin and the little girls, went to Scott Kleinow's for a pool party.
They love Mr. Kleinow and his family!!!

Daniel expressing his love to Sara. Hahahahahahaha!

Sara comes home

We found out this week that Sara will be coming home. They want her to get cleared medically before she can go back out on her mission. Before leaving the MTC, she saw Walker Horrocks. It was fun to see a face from home, for both of them.

Tim and Sebastian have become great friends, just like I thought they would. They talk forever about the gospel and Spanish. Tim wants to learn any language he can!

Thursday, Tim and I got to go to the airport to pick up Sara. It was an emotional experience. They hadn't seen each other for over 2 years, and Sara didn't know she was coming home until 2 days before.

It didn't take us long before we were out being silly together again!

Tim made Korean noodles for us! They were beautiful and delicious!

I love when Leigh sends me photos!

THIS FACE!!!! I can't get enough!

Happy Reunion!

We had the family over for a welcome home lunch for Tim, after his homecoming talk.

Ammon and Colton came too!

Jessi had fun using filters on Baby Sammy. It was pretty hilarious!

I've been spending a lot of time in this chair and my bed. I had a rib out of place and it pinched some nerves. It's been very painful and makes moving, breathing and everything else more difficult. I have such wonderful kids who take good care of me.

I've still been going to school, even with the pain. I am so lucky to have Tim as my school buddy this semester! I've enjoyed introducing him to my school friends.

It's been wonderful to have so much time with Baby Sammy! I do my best not to hog all the time with him, but I just want to nibble on him all day!

Grammy was in Panama when Tim came home, so we had a fun reunion when she got back.

We took Tim to Takamtsu for lunch. He came ALIVE!!!
He loved the food, but especially talking with the Koreans there. They loved him too!

This is random, but one of our favorite foods is from Trader Joe's. It's Palak Paneer and Naan.
It is the BEST!!!

Tim spends a lot of time talking to his friends in Korea. They miss him and he them.
I am amazed that he can do school work and talk and text with several people at once.
