Peter celebrated his 8th birthday on Saturday, our first official day with all of us being out of quarantine. It was wonderful to get out of the house and be with family!!!
Gavin, of course, made an amazing R2D2 cake.
And then after food, cake and presents, we all went to the park right behind Gavin and Cadie's house, for a gigantic slip and slide. The kids were in heaven! The weather wasn't too bad for those of us not getting wet. Just a few days earlier, it had been over 112 degrees, so just over 100 felt great!
Some spikeball
Andrew and Tim had just come from work, at Target, to join the fun.
These fellas sure love their Papa.
Benson is absolutely ADORABLE!
Even the big kids had a blast!
Daniel and Hinckley Huebsch
The Legacy band teacher, Brennan Jessee, came with his kids.
Daphne rode Nellie down the slide.
Aren't they just the cutest!?!?!
Then we came inside and played Nertz around the kitchen island. It was a little long, so the ends were tough positions to reach from. We rotated to make it more fair. It was awesome!
These fellas were more than happy to help Peter with his new Legos!
Andrew got the most wonderful Covid mask burn, while attending carts at work.
You can see he had on sunglasses too.
Sunday afternoon loves
Sam has been doing all kinds of cooking lately. He enrolled Laney and Daniel in frying zucchini, and later, pickles, strawberries and cheese. It was yummy and fun!
Being back at work and school is wiping out everyone. I think Covid 19 just really runs you down, and it takes a while to get your stamina back.
There's been a lot of family Mine Craft going on.
And Sam is teaching Daniel League of Legends.
Online school
Sammy made eggplant lasagna, and it was DELICIOUS!
We got these cute Sunday pics from Leigh. They are back at church this week.
LOVE THIS!!!
