The sixth grade did research on important Americans in history. For extra credit they could present a short monolog as that person in the Sixth Grade Wax Museum. Nate was Thomas Edison. Drew did his research on Albert Einstein, but opted not to present. I was extremely proud of Nate, he absolutely does not like to speak in front of people, but he did a great job!
Daniel was one of the MC's for the performances that night. He also did a great job.
He remembered to stop and pose for a picture before leaving the stage too. Cutie Boy!
Laney's dance club performed ballet to A Spoonful of Sugar. They were darling.
Then Laney's class sang some songs they have learned this year to help them remember things they have learned in Math and Social Studies.
Gram came to see all the fun.
Then the next week Laney performed again for the Dysart High School Dance Recital. Richard, Sam and I got to see her perform A Spoonful of Sugar again and also Rock-a-Hula, her tap number with some of the advanced high school dancers.
I love to see Sammy with the little ones. He is such a tenderhearted and supportive brother.
