Choir, Orchestra and Dance Recitals

This post is a long one.  We have had tons of performances with the end of the semester and Christmas.  It has been wonderful seeing my babies shine!

Daniel did a great job at his Jr. High choir performance.  He's in the back row, just left of the center, looking all handsome in his suit and tie.

You can watch one of their songs here:

Freddy is taking dance at school.  He loves to dance and he loves girls, so it is a win win for him.  He did an awesome job.  He even had a short solo dance in the middle.

Tim was invited to sing with his friend Eliza at her voice recital.  They sang Baby, It's Cold Outside.  Tim only had two short rehearsals with her in the week before the performance. He was a little nervous and may have not been at his best musically, but he sure was cute and entertaining!

You can see the performance here:

A few of his other friends performed at the recital as well. It is fun to see all the talent these kids have.  I love his friends!

With Makaila and Rebekah, all seniors

Gram took a pre-show picture on Susanna and Laney's concert evening.  Sadly, after the concert when I tried to take a picture of Grammy with the girls my phone died, but she was there!

The 3rd grade show was "A Holiday Moosical".  Susanna auditioned and got the lead role, Marty the Moose.  She wants so badly to be like the reindeer and be able to fly, but the elves, sugar plum fairies, toy soldiers, etc all make fun of her instead of believing in her.  In the end there is a Christmas miracle and all her hard work and hoping pays off as she soars across the sky.  Susie did awesomely!

Susanna is such a ham, I love that she curtsied after the show!

You can watch the song with Susanna's solos at this link:

I love this one!  Sisterly love!

Laney's 5th grade choir and orchestra concerts were wonderful too.  Mostly, the choir.  Second year orchestra is always a little painful, but they did a great job.  The choir did a lot of awesome jazzy and big band numbers.

You can hear one of Laney's choir songs here:

You can see Laney's smiling face in the center back.

Laney was in a short violin duet.  They played part of a pop song from the band Twenty-one Pilots. You can view it here:

Awww... All the love!
