Well, the newly weds are far away and having a wonderful time, even with a few bumps in their plans. They listened to General Conference at the Utah State capitol.
They just got to Idaho a few days ago and are getting settled in to their new tiny apartment. They have new carpet and a few other new things, so that's nice, and they are enjoying having their own space.
We had our first video call with them last Sunday. This will be our new Sunday tradition. They were at a park near Uncle Randy and Aunt Marilyn's house.

I'm so grateful that Leigh posts updates for us on Facebook and Instagram. I love seeing their faces!

Josh is still working for the same State Farm office as when he was here. They are letting him work remotely since they like him so much. He worked his first day up there on Friday with a tall kitchen table and a regular sized office chair. They accidentally bought only 1 of the 3 necessary boxes for his desk at Ikea, while they were in Salt Lake City. They have now ordered the other 2 boxes online.
When they moved in, they found that they are neighbors with Jonathan Comeau and his new bride, Hannah. The Comeau family are our good friends from years ago. They moved to Rexburg when the kids were still little. Now they are grown and married!
Meanwhile, back at home...
Sunday was lots of fun with Sam here to visit. That evening we played lots of Scum and Jungle Uno and laughed and laughed!
Laney stole this round away from Sam. She was pretty happy about it.
Jim and Gisela, our neighbors, gave Daniel, Laney and Susanna little Easter treats. They are always so sweet and thoughtful.
The Elder's came by late that evening and were able to share in our discussion of our favorite parts of conference.

The Larson family brought Daniel a plate of brownies for April Fool's Day. Brown E's are sugar free, so they were Daniel's favorite kind!
I have been enjoying my spring flowers. Especially the irises!
Sara spent all day Tuesday and Wednesday at the State Skills USA competition. She did not place in the top three, but did a great job!
She had to do a women's cut, a men's cut, a razor cut, an exam and an interview. She felt great about it all and enjoyed competing.
Wednesday evening, for the church youth activity, they played hungry, hungry hippos. It was a hilarious, good time.
Thursday was the first choir rehearsal with everyone together with the orchestra. It was wonderful. The concert at the end of April is going to be AMAZING!!!
Sara and Josh Jensen asked each other to prom after rehearsal. They were both planning to ask each other, so they agreed that it was a mutual asking.
Sara found these cute shoes to go with her prom dress and got just the right red polish for her nails.
We have been working little by little on her room as we find things at Goodwill. We got these pretty lace curtains for $2, the lamp for $1.50 and a small $5 bookshelf (not pictured). It was a good shopping day!
We had a surprise visit, Saturday afternoon, by Sasha and Stacy Offen. They moved to Utah a few years ago and missed our goofy family. Stacy kept the girls entertained with magic tricks.
Sara and Andrew were invited to crash the Goodyear Stake Mormon Prom. They had a fun time being together, and Sara got to try out her prom dress and shoes. Our Mormon Prom isn't until April 21st.
The theme was a trip around the world.
They even met the Queen!
