March

Josh's best bud Matt hanging out with him and Tim.

Sam asked Hannah to prom.  He was sneaky and typed some scripture sounding verses and careful glued them into an old Book of Mormon we had.  It really looked like it was just part of the page.  Sam talked to his teacher ahead of time and during class he had Hannah come up to the front to read it to the class.  She had no idea until she read the Night in Paris part.  She realized that it wasn't scripture and turned around to see Sam with a bouquet of roses asking her to prom.  It was really cute.  She said yes.

Josh asked Sydney to Prom.  The theme is A Night in Paris, so he drew the Eiffel Tower and "Prom?" on butcher paper that he taped together.  He covered her garage with it and wrapped it up like a gift.  Then we hid and watched her come out with her family and unwrap it.

He  spent about 10 hours on the whole thing.

 She said yes.  :)

Daniel turned 9!

The Feb / Mar family bday party was at our house.

My parents got me these beautiful dishes.  I love them!!!

Over spring break, Jessi and her girls practically lived here.  It was tons of fun and made it feel more exciting.  We dug trenches in the front yard for a new watering system.  I was beautiful weather and got done relatively quickly, for trenching.

Jessi and I went shopping too.  We are dangerous together in stores.  Isn't she pretty though?

Tim took a bunch of fun pictures on his 3DS.

I also went to Colorado with my mom and Jessi to visit our long lost sister Dandi for a few days.  I was trying to load some of those pictures but I am having problems.  Basically, we were silly girls, we shopped, we did our hair and make up, we talked and talked, we played games, watched movies, hiked in 32 degree weather, sang a trio in church and had a really great time.

February

We went to a Court of Honor for the older boys.

We went to the Blue and Gold Banquet for Daniel's Cub Scouts.

Daniel and Richard made a cake together for the banquet.

Nat and Drew had an 11 year old Scout camp out with their dad.  They about blew away it was so windy!  The ended up sleeping in the van, but they had a great time.

Tim got to go to his first dance.  His big brothers have taught him well, he danced every dance.  Look out ladies!

Laney had a daddy / daughter dance for Valentines.

She was thrilled to have a date with her daddy!

Sara had her New Beginnings evening with the Young Women from church.
Sara and Sis Strong

I went with my mom to Duluth, MN to visit my Aunt Judy and Uncle Tom.  It was FREEZING!!!  Don't go to Northern MN at the beginning of February!  It was a wonderful visit though.  I didn't post any pictures of my mom because I think she would kill me.  All the ones I have of her from the trip are of her making funny faces while brushing her teeth.  Facebook maybe???

I love going through old albums and learning family history with my sweet Aunt Judy.

I got to spend one night on a roll-away in their kitchen.

This is my "It's -33 degrees!" smile.

When I came home I found this on my bathroom mirror.  It's Sam's reflection welcoming me home.  :)

January

I was introduced to Skippy Jon Jones.  SO FUN!

Family Birthday party at the Earls.

Gavin being silly with a scarf he made.

More silliness!

We had some the Kidds over for Family Home Evening.

Josh went on his first date, with his mom of course.

 Isn't he handsome!

Girl Time With Grammy

Gram invited all the girls over for a slumber party during Christmas Break.  It was a blast!  We ate yummy food and talked and watched movies until the wee hours of the morning.  Laura and her girls joined us.  It's exciting that we have so many girls in the family now.  We were quite heavy on the boy side for a while.
Thanks Grammy for a wonderful time!
