Prom Overload!

Tim and Sara had a pre-prom party at our house the night before prom. They had a great time.

Rebekah and Tim       Noah and Isabelle

Lance and Meghann          KenaDee and Jono

Sara and Brandon, Rachel and Tommy, Lilly and Ira
Noah Barnhurst and Mikaila came later, but their dates were not able to come with them.

Jessi  came over and did Sara's hair and make-up. She also did KenaDee's hair.
It was a crazy good time as always.

Brandon is Tim's best friend and is part of the family.  He was such a sweet date for Sara and he looked so handsome in his new suit!

Sam waited to see Sara off before he left for a party.  I thought it was sweet that he waited.

He loves Sara bunches.  They have a special bond.

Here comes the picture overload.

Tim took Rebekah Smith.  She has been one of his very best friends through high school.
They have fun being goofy together.

Mikaila and her date (I can't remember his name)

We took sibling group pictures.

Getting in the "Limo"

Some of the guys moms made a fancy dinner for them and held it at the church.  They had a group of 10 couples, so it was hard to find somewhere they could all go to dinner together.  It was super awesome of those ladies to put it together for them.

Sara and Brynn

Sara and Lilly have been best friends for pretty much their whole lives.

They got back home about 12:30 am and crashed, exhausted on to the floor.

We forgot to take before pictures of Sara's hair.  It was super cool!  Mermaid twists and braids and curls!

Not a great shot, but Brandon and Sara won the coveted chicken at Prom.  They had it set up carnival style. The theme was At The Boardwalk. They had booths and games for them to play with prizes, like the chicken.  They named him Kitchen.

More post prom

Easter Sunday they wore their prom clothes to church so we took more pictures.

Meghan and Jono didn't wear their prom stuff, but we had to get them in the pictures anyhow.

Andrew and KenaDee have a special bond.  They are best friends too.  I think KenaDee is best friends with all Algers.

Tim and Brandon are the very best of friends. He pretty much lives at our house. (KenaDee does too.)

My Favorite!!!!
These two have been best friends since Sara was born.  I have loved watching them grow up together.  It will be hard when Tim leaves for his mission.

Susanna's 9th Birthday!

We celebrated Zanna's birthday a day early, since prom was on her birthday.  We wanted to make sure we had time to fuss over her adequately. We started the day with play rehearsal.  Here she is with her fellow lost boy and raccoon twin, Jolie, one of her best friends.

After play practice we went shopping for her birthday gifts.  She didn't want surprises this year, she wanted to shop with me. She chose a stainless steel water bottle, EOS chapstick, Junior Mints, a pack of colored gel pens, a huge costco box of Polar Ice gum, and a giant bag of Fuego Takis. It was everything on her birthday list.  She was pretty practical this year and said she didn't need any clothes, shoes or toys.

Then we picked up Daddy and went to Red Robin for dinner. I love our birthday dates with the kids.  It is a highlight for me.  Susanna had fun telling us about her life and being grown up. She is a delight.

And super silly!

The kids were extra sweet and did all sorts of nice thing for her on her birthday.  She woke up to find her door decorated with hearts from Tim and Daniel.

And Laney and Tori (she had spent the night with us) decorated the white board for her.

Her friend Jolie came by and gave her a bag full of lots of her favorite things, candy, nail polish, gum, lip gloss, perfume...

Sam spent a long time hand making a beautiful card for her with a special note from him inside. He left it on her pillow for her to find later.

I couldn't believe all the kindness that was shown to her, without any reminders or promptings from Mom and Dad.  Way to go kids!

That evening they all snuggled down and watched Rise of the Guardians.

It was a pretty wonderful birthday, even with prom.

Big week for Steph

Andrew wanted to hold his Daddy. He is one of our most snuggly, loving kids.

We went to the Buhanan's house to see James open his mission call. Pat and George were there too. James is going to the Ghana Cape Coast Mission in Africa!

Sara just looked super cute and vintage on Sunday, I had to take a picture.

Monday night was the release party for the new Cinematic Pop album Prologue. We recorded it with the famous London Symphony Orchestra. Rob's orchestrations are absolutely amazing. I can't believe all the magic that goes on in his head. It is so much fun to be part of such an incredible group! I love our new songs!!!

Conference Weekend

Every April and October we have a weekend broadcast from our church leaders. We love it! We all snuggle in our jammies and listen to amazingly inspired words and are filled with encouragement and love.

There were a few moments of silliness and brotherly love.

Tim taking notes

Everyone stayed awake for almost all of it.  Over the conference weekend there are 8 hours we watch together. Susanna fell asleep in the middle of the last session.

Dad and Laney almost made it through the whole thing.

A bit of wrestling with Big Brother right after. Had to get the wiggles out.

Susanna wanted me to do a "snake" braid in her hair, just for fun.

When I went in to check on the girls before I went to bed I found Susanna sound asleep in her bed like this. She frequently sleeps like this.  Silly girl!

Tim and Laney modeled some costumes for me, the chief and the crocodile for Peter Pan.
