Eight Isn't Enough

Utah Day 1

July 5th, Sara, Andrew, Freddy, Daniel and I took off for Utah! We were hurrying to get up there in time for Tyler Kellis's wedding reception, but ultimately we were going up there for EFY (Especially For Youth camp at BYU).

This was at our stop in Beaver, Utah. Silly boys!

Tyler's reception was beautiful! It was at Wadley Farms, in Lindon. Andrew enjoyed the candles way too much! I didn't know plastic forks could light on fire.

We met Brynna's boyfriend. He's super sweet and adorable!

It was fun to hang out with our Arizona friends in Utah.

Happy 4th of July!

Laney decided it was time for a change. She was ready to have a spunky, short 'do. So we got out the shears and cut off about 7". She looks absolutely adorable!

This was all pretend, she was so happy!

Sunday evening we had the Sasaki family over. It had been on our list of things to do for months, but with being in and out of town so much, it just hadn't happened. We had a delightful time talking and being together! The kids played around and watched The Prince of Egypt. We love our Sasaki family members!

Tuesday, Sara and I went out to lunch with Josh. He was leaving soon for a piano competition and camp in Kansas. He had been practicing pretty much nonstop for days, so we gave him a little break and company and Cafe Rio.

It's fun having a cosmetologist in the house. Freddy wanted to get a trim and try a new color.

It doesn't show well in this photo, but it is a beautiful silver blonde.

The 4th of July we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Alger's for family and fireworks! It was great to see all of the James Alger family and a lot of the Elys (We were missing Dandi's family). Grandma has a cute, short haircut now. It looks great on her. Leah and Daniel are expecting another baby. (So are Vaughn and Amie)

Saying Goodbye to Brandon

Brandon is Tim's best friend, but he is also a best friend to Sara, Andrew and Freddy, and pretty much everyone else. Everyone loves Brandon. He's such a sweet guy! He is leaving for his mission in Chesapeake, Virginia early Tuesday morning. These last few days have been full of hanging out with Brandon and squeezing as much last minute fun in as possible. We will miss him over the next 2 years, but are so excited to hear about all his adventures as a missionary!

Taking a picture with these crazy people is never as simple as it should be. Someone is always making a face, grabbing someone else's bum, blinking, goofing around, etc.
