Copper Canyon Ward Christmas Party

They recently rearranged our church boundaries lately, and while it has been terribly sad to not be with our long time beloved friends, we have really enjoyed getting to know new families and rejoining some old friends.  The Christmas party was a lot of fun and a great time to get to know people.

The decorations were so cute.  They had the primary kids make stars and snowflakes to hang across the ceiling and then had each family make a snowman as they arrived at the the party.  It was very festive.

Richard led the music for the carols.  I love to watch him in action.

There is just something special about teenagers and Santa.  It is always fun to see the little ones with their wide eyes in Santa's lap, but to have teens that are not too cool to sit on Santa's lap, it just makes me smile!
Poor Santa though.

I am glad the kids all have such wonderful friends to grow up with.
What a blessing!

  1. So did you mean to take the picture of Kelly Fleming looking like a snowman...? Very clever!

  2. Yes, I did mean to get that picture. It made me laugh! He had no idea that he was posed so perfectly in front of the snowman.

  3. Love the snowman decor idea. I think we'll be using that one sometime in the future.

  4. It's nice and all that you are being politically correct and saying you really like your new ward, but let's be honest...ain't no school like old school.
