Sunday evening, we went to Makaila's farewell open house. She is going to be such an incredible missionary! She is going to Washington DC South. We had a lot of fun with their family and a bunch of our Surprise West Stake friends.

The next morning, Sebastian and Josh Jordan came over to work out with all the boys. Some of them were sore for a few days. It was a good work out!
In the evening, Seth Smith came over to see Josh and Leigh. He stayed and played games with us for hours. He beat Sara in Foosball. Impressive. Not many can.
Sebastian and Josh sang together for a while. Sara and Sebastian also sang quite a bit.
I made pasta Alfredo and everyone was so happy.
The younger crew played I Doubt It.

January 2nd, we had Vivi's bridal shower at Grammy's. She did a beautiful job with the shower. The food was yummy and beautifully presented. Everyone had a great time and most importantly, Vivi felt very loved.

Thursday, Sara started her mission papers!!!! So exciting!!!
While Sara worked on her papers, Gavin had come over to help me hang the lights for the wedding reception. He was a super hero, for sure. It took us all day, but they looked beautiful when we finished! It was wonderful to spend the day working together. They boys all helped too.
Freddy helped on the fence a ton. It was great!
Noah, being helpful.
We had to work out a few kinks to get them all to stay on without shorting out the circuit, but we finally got it all balanced and it was so pretty!
Friday night we did all the final preparations. Mari, Vivian and her friend Adrinna, from Brazil, came to work on flower arrangements. We were ironing table cloths, cleaning up, finishing arranging tables and decorations. It was a busy, busy night!
