Last weekend, Sammy got up super early and hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim. He had been practicing for weeks and weeks, hiking around town. He said it was one of the hardest and most awesome experiences he has had!

I love this "I did it" face!!! He is such an amazing guy. I have always admired how fearless he is in accomplishing his dreams! Sammy can do anything!

We’d never been there before and today felt like a good day for it.
It also snowed!! Love this guy.

AND... THE BIGGEST NEWS!!!
Sammy proposed to Vivian!!!!! We are so excited to have her be part of our family! She is sunshine and happiness packed into a beautiful, 4' 11' body. She lights up Sammy's life. He is bursting with joy! He adores everything about her from her testimony of the Savior to her amazing cooking skills to her bright outlook on life. He is in heaven! She fits so wonderfully with the family. She is easy to be with and a ton of fun. Hooray!!! We love LOVE!!!
The ring he got her is gorgeous. It is now off at the jeweler's to be sized. They are dying to get it back. I remember how torturous it was for Josh and Leigh to wait to get the ring back from sizing. Everyone wants to see the ring!
Congratulations sweeties!!! They are getting married January 5th 2019!
