That afternoon, we met up with Zack Lyon and his new bride, Emma, at Highland Glen Park. We played games and had a great time getting to know Emma a little bit. Sarah also came to join in the fun.
We love this park because it feels like you are out in the wild, but in the middle of town. The lake is fun and the walking paths and playgrounds.
Sunday, we drove to South Jordan to attend church with Sarah and the Bevans family. They had previously lived in our neighborhood in Surprise. It was nice to see them again.
On the way home we drove by the Mount Timpanogos Temple.
I sure love these crazy kids! It was wonderful to have so much time with them.
Then we spent a little time with the Lyons that evening. The whole gang was there for Sunday dinner and let us visit with them for a while.
When we got home we went for an evening walk. The weather was amazingly beautiful!
Of course nothing ends the day quite like chicken foot dominoes with Aunt Marilyn!
