Laney went to her first girl's camp! She was sad that Sara was not able to go because of cosmetology school, but was so happy to be there with her friends and cousins, Heidi and Lilli. They left bright and early Wednesday morning to Camp Heber.
Sister Gent sent me a text as they were on their way saying Laney already had her laughing. We had been up super late the night before, so luckily, Laney got in a little nap on the way there.

They made a trip over to the Snowflake Temple grounds.

They went to a park for lunch after the temple and had pizza!
The park had a zipline that they enjoyed. They didn't want to leave the park because they were having so much fun!
Back at camp they learned to throw axes! Laney made her axe stick! Good job girl!!

Laney said that camp was super fun and that the Spirit was very strong. Her favorite parts were boating and the hike. It was super windy the whole time they were there. The tents were knocked down and shaking while they slept. She said she was freezing during testimony meeting, but loved to hear everyone share, especially Lilli. It was overall a wonderful time and she is excited for next year!
